Press Release

CBI Group Named Best In Business
April 18, 2005

A
human resources company that can truly be considered a friend to area
businesses, CBI Group, is the recipient of The News Journal 2005 Best
In Business Award for Best Up and Coming Company.

Chris Burkhard, president and founder, observed there was a need for
a professional services firm to provide solutions in human resources,
staffing and outsourcing to companies of all sizes while working for
his father's staffing company, Placers. From this idea, CBI Group was
born. It was created to allow companies to hire human resources
professionals on a short-term basis to assist with tasks such as human
relations, recruiting, salary administration, change-management,
special projects, and just about everything else to do with the
"people" side of business.

CBI Group's Outside-In® philosophy differentiates itself
from its competitors in a significant manner. Fundamentally, the phrase
means that CBI Group tailors its services to the customers' needs and
offers them customized solutions. This approach allows CBI Group to be
flexible and accommodate requests that other organizations do not have
the agility to fulfill.

CBI Group was founded in 2001 and has grown by 850% to be come a $2
million plus company today. The company is headquartered in Newark,
Delaware. To quote The News Journal Best In Business panel members,
"CBI's rapid growth and plans for expansion clearly make it an
up-and-coming company."
