Chris Burkhard, president and founder, observed there was a need for
a professional services firm to provide solutions in human resources,
staffing and outsourcing to companies of all sizes while working for
his father's staffing company, Placers. From this idea, CBI Group was
born. It was created to allow companies to hire human resources
professionals on a short-term basis to assist with tasks such as human
relations, recruiting, salary administration, change-management,
